“I designed Yuru’s menu with the idea of pairing culinary techniques and fresh produce of Rio Grande do Norte. Products that reveal the richness of our Northeastern culture, but echo across the world.”

With a degree in gastronomy from the French School of Culinary Arts (Ferrandi), Joca Pontes has worked at renowned restaurants in the French capital. The sophisticated and world-renowned kitchens of Au Pressoir, Le Pré-Catelan, Le Sept-Quinze and Ze Kitchen Galerie are all part of his resume.

 

Joca also spent 3 years in Paris specializing in combining French cooking techniques with regional ingredients and recipes. An effort recognized with several awards:
